Natalie Arendt recently celebrated her 100th birthday at Emeritus Senior Living in Prospect Heights.

Natalie was born Sept. 4, 1913, in Chicago, where she lived for most of her life.

She and her husband of 57 years had four sons. Natalie Arendt is the grandmother of eight with 12 great grandchildren.

She had 12 siblings, including 91-year-old Loretta, who lives in Chicago.
