Lyric opera chapter opens opera season at Medinah reception

Barrington Chapter of Lyric Opera of Chicago opens its 2013-14 opera season at Medinah Country Club on Sunday, Sept. 15, with a reception and cash bar at 1:30 p.m.; entertainment at 2 p.m.; High Tea at 3 p.m.; and complimentary valet service.

Soprano, Marisa Buchheit, Ms. Chicago 2012, will perform opera areas and Broadway tunes, accompanied by Romanian pianist, Luciano Laurentiu.

There is no charge for chapter members. Guests are invited for $35 each and the fee will apply to chapter membership if one would like to join.

Members need to call Margit Vogel, to make a reservation, no later than Monday, Sept. 9, at (847) 304-0422.

Guests should mail their $35 check to Ms. Margit Vogel at 260A Timber Ridge Road, Lake Barrington, IL. 60010 by Monday Sept. 9.

Please be aware that Medinah does not allow denim of any color or style on the club’s premises.
