Burlington Business Council hosts electronics drive Sept. 14

The Burlington Business Council has arranged an electronics drive in Burlington. Please bring us all of your old unwanted electronics on Saturday, Sept. 14. The drop-off location will be at See Saw Day Care at 275 South Street (Peplow) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We are able to accept items at no charge - such as computers, monitors, keyboards and mouse devices, VCRs, printers, fax machines, digital music players, DVD players, cable receivers, scanners, digital converter boxes, video recorders, cell phones, camcorders, small servers, handheld games, satellite receivers, any other electronic device that has a cord or takes batteries.

We are able to accept microwaves but no other appliances. We can take televisions but there is a disposal fee of $15 for sets 19 incehs or smaller and $25 for sets over 19 inches.

You do not have to be a Burlington resident to participate, just bring us your eligible items.

We need as many items big or little, from all businesses and residents. Take advantage of this opportunity to recycle those old or broken electronics that have just been taking up space.

The Business Council (Friends of Burlington) will yield $100 per ton collected, the proceeds will go toward the Fall Fest 2014.
