Illinois State Police seek public help in hunt for murder suspect

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Illinois State Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a teenager accused in an East St. Louis shooting death months ago.

Prosecutors in St. Clair County last week charged 17-year-old Shaun Henderson of Washington Park with first-degree murder.

Authorities allege Henderson chased down and repeatedly shot Jordan Anderson on Jan. 12.

Police say they believe Henderson was last known to be in the East St. Louis area and is armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Henderson’s whereabouts is urged to call local police.

Online court records don’t show whether Henderson has an attorney.
