Two Ingleside teens face charges for burglarizing vehicles

Two Ingleside teens have been charged with burglarizing motor vehicles in a Fox Lake subdivision, authorities said Tuesday.

Daniel DeGeorge, 18, of the 35000 block of Randhill Drive, and Lucas Migasi, 17, of the 5000 block of West Shore, were arrested about 3:36 a.m. Sunday, Fox Lake Police Lt. Mark Schindler said.

Authorities received a call of suspicious subjects who were shining flashlights into vehicles on the 500 block of Blue Springs Drive in the Holiday Park subdivision, Schindler said. Officers quietly searched the area, and located the two suspects and took them into custody.

During a search of the teens, officers found stolen credit cards, GPS units, flashlights, purses and bags, according to police.

Both confessed to burglarizing approximately 10 vehicles in the neighborhood, police said.

Each teen was charged with three counts of burglary to motor vehicles and taken to bond court. The teens were released after posting a $50,000 recognizance bond.
