Greg Allen's "Big Honkin Spider" features Allen as an extreme exterminator who goes head-to-head with a large, extremely deadly spider.

The Pharos-Tribune reports the film has been accepted to the Indiana Short Film Festival and will be shown at the event Oct. 11-13 in Danville.

Many of the actors in the film were students Allen had in his class at the Century Career Center.

Allen says he has been interested in video since he was young. He has two YouTube channels and even started the first episode of a post-apocalyptic drama web series and is hoping to create more.
