Ÿ Joe W. Latrell, 17, of the 1300 block of Concord Court, was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct/making a false 911, a felony, after he pulled a fire alarm box in the gymnasium of a building in the 300 block of East Chicago Street knowing there was no fire, court records show. His bail was set at $2,500 and his next court date is Aug. 30.

Ÿ Malcolm M. Williams, 19, of the 1200 block of Spruce Lane, was charged Thursday with robbery and theft by intent to control after he took a Louis Vuitton backpack, digital camera and a motorcycle battery charger from someone on Aug. 4 in the 600 block of Villa Street, court records show. Police used video surveillance from a gas station to identify Williams, a police report said. His bail was set at $75,000 and his next court date is Aug. 30.

Ÿ Kevin S. Kosmicki, 34, of the 3400 block of South Wright Road, was charged with residential burglary and theft for his involvement in a burglary Tuesday that occurred near his home, according to a sheriff’s report. Several items, including electronics, jewelry, cash, and a knife were stolen from a home in the 3300 block of South Wright Road and the victim tracked his stolen Apple products by using iCloud, sheriff’s police said. Sheriff’s deputies from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office found Kosmicki and the missing items at a nearby home, police said. Kosmicki was being held on $100,000 bail, and his next court date was not available.
