Bartlett Street Dance to collect supplies for overseas troops

Hanover Township, in cooperation with the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association, will collect supplies for troops serving overseas at the Bartlett Street Dance from 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bartlett Fire Barn, 218 S. Main St.

Attendees are asked to bring individual cold drink mix packets (Gatorade, Propel, etc.), Slim Jims/Jerky, crackers (16 oz or less), nuts (20 oz or less), cereal/breakfast bars, sunscreen (8 oz or less, no aerosol please) and antibiotic or anti-itch cream. Donations are being collected for Operation Support Our Troops — America.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature live music, dancing, drink and food tents, kids activities, a veterans VIP tent and classic car show. Donations are being collected for Operation Support Our Troops — America.
