Taste of the Towns returns to Lake Zurich for the seventh year from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Paulus Park, 200 S. Rand Road in Lake Zurich.

Taste of the Towns features local food and beverage outlets that will serve samples of their menus. There will be picnic and pavilion seating available.

A sampling from each vendor can be tasted by purchasing a Tasting Menu, which may be shared by more than one individual, although there is just one tasting from each vendor. Additional beverages may be purchased on-site.

Children's activities include Go Hardball Training Center, which will have their Speed Pitch Tent where kids can see how fast they throw for free; Paint the Car with Casten Auto Body Shop; The Learning Tree with games and activities. New this year is a climbing wall and bouncy house from the Foglia YMCA.

The Tasting Menu pre-event is $30 each or two for $50 through Aug. 23. The on-site cost is $35.

Live musical entertainment will be provided by local artists, including Trilogy School of Performing Arts & Deja Vu.

At the conclusion, every person with a Tasting Menu will receive a souvenir glass sponsored by Melon Ink/Elegant Embroidery

Tasting Menus can be picked up on-site at registration. Additional beverages may be purchased on-site.
