Wolves open training camp Sept. 21

In preparation for their 20th season of professional hockey, the Chicago Wolves will begin training camp at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates on Sept. 21.

The Wolves will play three preseason games during their nine-day camp, all three of which will be played at home during a four-day stretch, team officials said Thursday.

The Wolves will host the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate, at the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows at 7 p.m. Sept. 25 before the team battles the Iowa Wild at the Franklin Park Ice Arena at 7 p.m. Sept. 27. Chicago will close its camp with a contest against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.
