Follow-up needed on latest scandals

President Obama has found a new slogan — phony scandals — to distract Americans from the real scandals in his administration. The IRS’s Lois Lerner has already acknowledged and apologized for targeting conservative tax-exempt organizations then took the Fifth during her testimony.

The president went on TV and said whether you are a Democrat or Republican you should be outraged by this, and he would get to the bottom of this. Was this phony or was he being phony? After months, the administration has done no investigation and reported no updated information.

Likewise, the same is true of no information regarding Benghazi. It appears he hopes it will all just go away. Mr. Obama should call the families of the four murdered Americans and ask if they believe the scandals are phony.

The same is true about Fast and Furious, the AP targeting and the James Rosen target. There was such outrage when these scandals occurred, but there has been no investigation and no reporting to the American people.
