College of DuPage President Robert L. Breuder Named To U.S. Bank Advisory Board in Chicago

U.S. Bank recently announced that College of DuPage President Robert L. Breuder, Ph.D., has been appointed to its advisory board in Chicago.

Dr. Breuder has been president of College of DuPage since 2009. The College, located in Glen Ellyn, serves more than 26,000 students and is the second largest provider of undergraduate education in Illinois after the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“U.S. Bank is pleased to welcome Dr. Breuder to our local advisory board,” said Marsha Cruzan, Chicago market president for U.S. Bank and member of College of DuPage Foundation Board. “Dr. Breuder is a highly-regarded professional in Chicago and in the higher education community nationwide. We look forward to his input and guidance as a member of our advisory board.”

Dr. Breuder earned bachelor's and master's degrees from State University of New York at Albany, and a doctorate in higher education administration from Florida State University.

U.S. Bank has long had a relationship with College of DuPage, including opening a branch on the college's campus earlier this year. The goal of U.S. Bank's advisory board is for community leaders to share information and ideas and help the company's market leadership make decisions. The bank has 89 branches and more than 1,600 employees in the greater Chicago area.

“I am delighted with the opportunity to sit on the U.S. Bank advisory board in Chicago,” Dr. Breuder said. “We have had an excellent relationship that has provided a convenient, on-campus banking option for our students.”
