Palatine Dance Company Presents Free Open House

Palatine Park District's Dance Program will offer a free Open House event for children ages 5 and up with their parents on Saturday, August 17 from 10am to 3pm at Community Center, 250 E. Wood Street, Palatine. For over 25 years, the Palatine Park District has been offering top rated dance instruction with affordable prices. Training students from ages 5 through adult, the Palatine Dance Program continues to turn out some of the most well rounded dancers with experience in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, contemporary, pointe and hip hop.

While the Open House is free, pre-registration is required using code 2529-2. Registration can be completed online at www.palatineparks.org or in person at Community Center, Falcon Park Recreation Center, or Birchwood Recreation Center.

Several free dance workshops will be offered during the open house including Ballet for ages 5 to 7, Jazz for ages 5 to 7, Hip Hop for ages 8 and up, and Ballet for ages 8 and up. The dance staff and teachers will also be holding a shoe sizing event and sale during the open house. For more information on the Open House schedule, send an email to palatinedance@gmail.com.
