Immigration reform appreciated

To the White House and the president of The United States of America, Barack Obama:

Firstly, I would like to thank President Obama, Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid, and all other Democratic leaders for immigration reform.

An individual I know came with his parents at the age of 5 to this country. He grew up here, worked very hard and got little education. He worked on someone else’s Social Security number and he lived by the law by paying his taxes. Now that he has his own Social Security number via the DREAM Act, he is thankful of his new life but with his new life came new problems.

If he tells his employer about his new Social Security number, they will fire him and possibly take him to court. Also if he applies for a credit card, there will be problems with job verification. These are just some problems that I am hoping the political leaders will look at and consider fixing.

This is a big issue that is hurting many hardworking individuals, and it is because of this that these hard working individuals are afraid to live their new lives.

Again. thank you all for your continuous efforts in immigration reform.
