Lake Villa Elementary District 41 officials will discuss possible grade level configurations during a school board meeting on Monday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place at Polumbi Middle School, 131 McKinley Ave., Lake Villa. District architects are expected to be on hand to discuss how to reduce the number of schools used in the district. Earlier this year, the school board voted to close Pleviak Elementary School at Route 83 and Grand Avenue, prompting district leaders to consider how to reconfigure schools to offset grade levels in the district.
