Barrington's Catlow Theater and Walgreen's are teaming up for a charity screening of "Despicable Me" to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The family-friendly film will be shown at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the theater at 116 W. Main St. in downtown Barrington. The ticket price is $10 for all ages and includes a small popcorn and medium drink. All proceeds go to JDRF. The fundraiser is a collaboration of former Catlow employee and current Walgreen's pharmacist Casey Kozlowski and Catlow owner Tim O'Connor. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the box office, Boloney's Sandwich Shop next door or at catlowjdrf.ticketleap.com/tickets.
