Emma rolled in the Under 10 Girls Division, Dominick in the Under 10 Boys Division and Elizabeth in the Under 7 coed division.

Both Emma and Dominick made it to the finals of the two day competition. Emma placed third. Dominick lost in the championship match, coming in second overall. Elizabeth was participating in her first championship and lost earlier in the competition to the eventual champion.

Emma and Dominick have been log rolling for four years. All three kids are members of the U.S. Logrolling Association. During the school year, they live in Wauconda and train in Oconomowoc, Wis. They are the only amateur log rollers who hail from Illinois.

Emma currently holds first place in the Under 10 girls “super series” for the 2012-13 log rolling season which measures tournament placing over the course of the season. Dominick is in second place in the Under 10 boys division.
