It's hot at Q-BBQ thanks to the spicy new summer menu. Choose from eight new amped up creations -- the spicy sausage sandwich, served on a brioche bun, toasted with mozzarella cheese, and topped with slaw, spicy mustard, onion and spicy pickles; the pork nachos; spicy wings; spicy brussels sprouts; spicy mac and cheese; jalapeņo cornbread; spicy fries; and spicy slaw.

Prasino joins Rosemont
A new prasino location opened this week in the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont. Known for its locally grown, organic and sustainably harvested ingredients, prasino Rosemont serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with signature items like the lobster-stuffed avocado, braised short ribs, and sushi rolls. The menu includes gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a farm-to-bar cocktail menu with small-batch spirits, craft beers and sustainable wines.

Caviar, seafood dinner
Port Edward in Algonquin hosts the queen of caviar, Collins Caviar founder Carolyn Collins, at a seafood and caviar dinner at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. Begin with a Riverita cocktail and Collins caviars on the boat deck patio. The buffet dinner features the lobster bisque, smoked salmon and trout, steamed mussels, seafood stuffed mushrooms, crab legs, paella Valenciana, bouillabaisse, grouper in mango chutney, blackened catfish and more. $99 per person.
