Hanover Park man pleads guilty to sexually abusing teen

A 36-year-old Hanover Park man has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a teenager and was sentenced to 11 years in prison, court records show.
In exchange for Brian R. Jones’ guilty plea to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, prosecutors dropped child pornography charges against him, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Sharon Kantor.
The abuse took place from 2008 to 2011, when the victim was between the ages of 13 and 17, Kantor said.
