Aug. 2-3: CLC Dance presents Summer Dance Showcase

The 3rd Annual Summer Dance Showcase will be presented at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3 by the College of Lake County Dance department.

This free showcase will be held in the Studio Theatre of the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts at the CLC Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

The performance will showcase choreography by CLC adjunct dance faculty member Lamaiya Lancaster, CLC alumna and University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate Carissa Holmes and University of Illinois graduate Mallory Rubin. CLC students, alumni and community members will perform. Some of the pieces will be performed to original compositions by Chad Jenkins, a former CLC student. The performance will conclude with a talk-back session.
