Congratulations to the World Class Basketball 17U National Team on taking 2nd place in the country at the AAU National Championships that took place in Orlando, Florida from July 11th through July 18th.

Playing with only 7 players, they had wins against the Brevard Bulls from Florida 56 to 40, Hoyas BB Club out of Georgia 72 to 67, Team Florida Black 62 to 56, Mass Premier Elite out of Massachussettes 65 to 53, Pinnacle Basketball out of Alabama 55 to 51 and the Jax Hawks out of Florida 39 to 33.

They lost a heartbreaker in the National Championship Game to the North Carolina Blazers 50 to 49.

The team fought through a lot of adversity and showed a lot of character in taking 2nd place in this very high level tournament.

The team features players from local high schools Conant, Larkin, Huntley and Hampshire.
