Abbott, Bandits win 11-1

Monica Abbott delivered another dominating performance Wednesday against the visiting Comets, registering 12 strikeouts in guiding the Bandits to an 11-1 victory.

The Bandits started the four-game homestand by scoring 3 runs in the first inning courtesy of 2-run home run by Alisa Goler, her third of the season.

The Bandits exploded for 6 runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. The big hit of the inning was Jenna Grim's 2-run double off the center field fence which gave the Bandits an 11-0 lead.
