The 14th annual Mount Prospect Downtown Block Party is right around the corner. On Friday and Saturday, July 26-27, the Village of Mount Prospect and the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce will sponsor this festive community event.

The Block Party will be held at Emerson Street and Busse Avenue in downtown Mount Prospect. Festival hours are 5-11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

Free kids' activities will be held noon-6 p.m. Saturday, including a climbing wall, pony rides, slide, apple-go-round, bounce houses, face painting, stilt walkers and more.
