Shouts of joy were heard from the crowd of 100+ people at the first annual Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council's (PTSCC) "Beers to You!" Beer Tasting Fundraising event, as the winning raffle numbers were called. Excitement was in the air as people enjoyed pizza and sampled brews from the expansive list of 18 beers on tap at Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille on June 5th, 2013. To satisfy people's snack craving, PTSCC sold Pretzel Necklaces for $2 each or 1 Ticket. $4,200 was raised for the Palatine Township Senior Center, making the inaugural event a great success!

Nicole Finnegan, Admission Director at The Arlington Rehabilitation & Living Center was a sponsor and attended the event and said, "All that attended from The Arlington Rehab had a wonderful time. It was very nice and well put together. Everyone was very friendly, and the raffle was an added bonus!"
