If you’re the type of cook who can look at a jar of salsa and see something more than chips and dip, then you’re just who we need for our third annual Cook of the Week Challenge.
The contest challenges 16 home cooks to come up with weeknight-friendly recipes using mystery ingredients plus common pantry items. Past mystery baskets have included salsa, whole chicken, quinoa, coconut milk and blueberries.
We’re not looking for the next “Top Chef.” We’re looking for the best suburban home cook to crown Cook of the Year 2013 and award $3,000 in prizes.
Entering is easy. Grab an original recipe (maybe it’s what you made for dinner the other night?) and head to surveymonkey.com/s/COTW2013.
