Assisting Hands® to sponsor Parkinson’s Education Program for Family Caregivers at Lombard’s Beacon Hill

Hinsdale-based Assisting Hands® Home Care on July 19, 2013 is sponsoring an education program for caregivers on reducing the stress of caring for patients with Parkinson’s disease at Beacon Hill Senior Living, 2400 South Finley Road

Lombard, Illinois from 10:30 until 11:30 AM.

Richard Ueberfluss, president of Assisting Hands -Hinsdale, will be presenting a program that discusses issues relating to Parkinson’s disease, a disorder of the brain that leads to shaking (tremors) and difficulty with walking, movement, and coordination. It most often develops after age 50 and is one of the most common nervous system disorders of the elderly.
