Arlington Heights asks for input on 5-year capital plan

Residents are encouraged to provide input on future construction projects they would like to see as part of the village’s 5-year Capital Improvement Program.

The village will soon be working on its 5-year plan, and residents’ suggestions will be reviewed as part of the planning process.

A short online survey has been created for residents to express their interest in certain projects involving streets, stormwater facilities, traffic signals, street lighting, etc. Surveys will need to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, August 16.

The plan typically includes projects involving the installation, maintenance and improvement of the village’s infrastructure such as streets, stormwater facilities, sanitary sewers, water mains, sidewalks, traffic signals, street lighting and buildings. It does not include ongoing maintenance projects such as pothole repair, tree trimming and snow plowing.
