Peeling back the liberal onion

Peeling back the liberal onion

Most condemning of the IRS documents detailing the intrusive, politically-motivated probing of Tea Party groups calls for focused scrutiny of those organizations openly “teaching the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.” Apparently this regime deems the Founding documents to be curiously subversive and thereby dangerous.

Not too surprisingly, were I to introduce Das Kapital, Mein Kampf and the Quran into my classrooms the storied patriarchs of academia would fervently celebrate my unfettered reverence for diversity and social justice as they systematically demonize and besmirch American traditions courageously represented by the Boy Scouts and pro-life religious gatherings.

May this long overdue, therapeutic and ongoing cleansing of the political landscape continue to peel back the layers of a well-funded, highly destructive liberal onion at long last revealing its thoroughly rotten and vacuous core. In the end the genius of the American experiment forged in the blood and toil of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry will be dramatically reaffirmed, emboldened and dutifully preserved for future generations to revere and perpetuate.
