Revised Website Up and Running for The Peoples' Bank

The Peoples’ Bank of Arlington Heights has introduced a revised website to accommodate the expanding universe of user devices. Introduced last month, the revised site (www.peoplesbanc.com) maintains all of its original features while now being fully viewable and functional on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

“We’re very pleased with the look and functionality of the site,” said Peoples’ Bank Vice-President and COO Mary Ann Flynn. Flynn noted that research indicates that by 2015, two thirds of the population will have a smartphone and tablet usage may soon outpace consumer activity on PCs. “The expanded availability for the website will allow our customers greater flexibility and access for their banking needs.”

Developed by Aardvark Webworks, the bank site has a slightly revised look and feel along with some expanded capabilities. “We’ve expanded some features such as being able to add photo galleries as we did recently for our Veteran’s book event,” said Flynn. “However, the main features of our site, including our popular online banking feature remain in place with the added convenience of now being accessible from a variety of devices.”

In addition to providing online service to mobile devices the bank is also looking forward to better promotional capabilities for its many events and partnerships through the new site. “We’ve made it easier for customers to submit questions to us via the web and to fill out applications for things like our ‘We Pay for A’s’ contest for students,” said Flynn. “Over the summer we are sponsoring a number of events such as Sounds of Summer, the Stampede race, and National Night Out so we are hoping to better promote our involvement with those great local events.”

In addition to the improved website, The Peoples’ Bank also encourages customers to keep current on bank activities and news by following them on Twitter @peoplesbankah.
