Bulls announce summer-league roster

By Mike McGraw

The Bulls released their summer-league roster Tuesday, and it includes draft picks Tony Snell and Erik Murphy, along with two members of last year's squad, Marquis Teague and Malcolm Thomas.

Charles Boozer, the younger brother of Bulls power forward Carlos, is on the roster. The 6-foot-3 guard, 25, played three years at Iowa State, averaging 2.6 points and leaving before his senior season in 2010.

Ryan Allen, the younger brother of Memphis guard Tony Allen and one of Derrick Rose's best friends, is on the roster. A 6-3 guard from Wisconsin Milwaukee, Allen was in Bulls training camp last fall.

One player who might get consideration for this year's training camp is 6-3 guard Andrew Goudelock. He still ranks among the NCAA all-time leaders in 3-point shooting, spent the 2011-12 season with the Los Angeles Lakers and was named D-League MVP last year.

Another potential outside shooter is former Syracuse guard Andy Rautins. He appeared in five games with the New York Knicks in 2011-12 and played in Spain last year.

The rest of the summer roster includes 6-6 Chamberlain Oguchi from Illinois State, 6-5 Kyle Gibson from Louisiana Tech, 6-4 Matt Hanning from Northeastern, 6-9 Deon Thompson from North Carolina and 6-9 Matthew Bryan-Amaning from Washington.

The Bulls will begin play in the Las Vegas summer league Sunday against Memphis.
