P.F. Chang's new menu

P.F. Chang's offers the flavors of summer with new menu items that feature heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, mango and pears. Try the grilled pineapple-citrus swordfish with summer rice, Korean barbecue chicken stir-fry, heirloom tomato and Thai basil salad, summer vegetable quinoa fried rice, grilled prawns with chilled peanut noodle salad or the Peking duck summer rolls.

Bastille Day at D&J

Celebrate Bastille Day at D&J Bistro Sunday, July 14, with a three-course prix fixe menu for $42.50 or a four-course prix fixe for $46.50. Appetizer choices include steamed PEI mussels in a white wine herb broth, carpaccio of beef tenderloin, les escargots du bistro and foie gras. Entrees include a 10-ounce New York Strip grilled with shallot butter; a half duck roasted crisp in a sour cherries sauce; garlic-rubbed lamb loin and rack over ratatouille; and filet of salmon. Desserts include homemade raspberry sorbet with mixed berries in an almond tuile cup.

Zoup! now in Aurora

Zoup! Fresh Soup Company recently opened in Aurora serving its signature soups, salads and sandwiches. Twelve varieties of soups rotate daily with low-fat, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Customer favorites include chicken potpie, lobster bisque and vegetarian split pea. Soups cost $4.25 to $6.95. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
