'Mustache Marchers' first place in Lake Bluff Fourth of July Parade

Lake Bluff natives Steve Platcow, Perry Brown, and Dr. Paul M. Steinwald collaborated with RPM Advertising and the Chicago sketch comedy group, "Think Tank", on this year's first place winning entry in the "Just 4 Fun" category at the Lake Bluff Fourth of July Parade.

The event attracted 24,500 viewers along the downtown parade route. The Million Mustache March for Men's Rights was a satirical social sketch exploiting male cultural stereotypes such as "I have the right to hold the remote" among others.

According to Platcow, "It was really fun for so many life-long friends from Lake Bluff and Lake Forest to come together and collaborate. With the help of our neighbors, RPM Advertising and Think Tank, we poked fun at the male cultural stereotype, parodied ourselves and provided great entertainment for the citizens of Lake Bluff and Lake Forest."

We look forward to continuing a new tradition for years to come and are already planning for next year's parade."
