Children's Acting Classes Coming to Library

Children ages six to 14 have the opportunity to learn acting from actress and storyteller Paddy Lynn in two July workshops coming to the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

“Storyacting,” for ages six to eight, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday July 15 through Thursday, July 18 in the kidsZone Classroom. Children will combine favorite stories with drama under Lynn's instruction, using fanciful costumes and props to enhance their experience. On the final day, children will conduct a storyacting demonstration for parents to attend. The fee is $20 per student.

In “Drama Daze,” for ages 9-14, Lynn combines drama exercises and games in an exciting theater workshop. The fee for this program is $20 per student.

Registration takes place at the library's Programs and Games Desk on the first floor.
