Two injured in rollover crash on I-90

By

Two young women received "relatively minor" injuries when their SUV flipped Thursday evening, Illinois State Police said.

The single-vehicle crash happened at 5:48 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the Jane Addams Tollway in the Rolling Meadows area, Sgt. Tim Zych said.

Police don't yet know what caused the SUV to flip and come to rest in the left lane near Arlington Heights Road. The lane was reopened within an hour, Zych said.

The two women, whose ages and hometowns weren't available, were transported to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Zych said their injuries didn't appear to be severe.
