7 charged in multicounty drug bust
Seven people face drug charges after a three-year long, multicounty investigation resulted in the indictments and the seizure of about 30 kilos of cocaine and heroin with a street value of millions of dollars, police say.
The DuPage County state’s attorney announced the charges Tuesday. Arrested were: Javier Garcia Gomez, Domingo Guillen, Juan Espera Pegraza, Rene Rojo, David Salgado, Erika Salgado-Pineda, and Leslie Salgado-Pineda.
Each were charged with criminal drug conspiracy, a super class X felony; and possession with the intent to deliver, a class X felony.
