Wheaton police investigate indecent exposure report

By Christopher Placek

Wheaton police said they are looking for a man who exposed himself to a young female, then drove away in his car on Monday night.

The indecent exposure took place at 5:45 p.m. near Warrenville and Shaffner roads, police said.

Police Chief Mark Field said the suspect was in the vehicle when he exposed himself to the victim, who was standing outside. The suspect then drove east on Warrenville Road and south on Wiesbrook Road.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 20 years old. He was last seen wearing a neon yellow construction-style safety vest. His car was an older maroon or burgundy 4-door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (630) 260-2055.
