Kane County

• A resident of the 38W300 of Heritage Oaks Drive near St. Charles reported a lost or stolen 16-gigabyte iPad June 13 or June 14, a total loss of $300, according to a sheriff's report.

Batavia

• Jacob A. Pesavanto, 19, of the 1100 block of Milne Drive, Lockport, and Jordan P. Matzen-Campise, 19, of the 1100 block of West Wilson Street, Batavia, were both charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 12:09 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of West Wilson, according to a police report. Pesavanto was also taken to the Kane County jail on a failure to appear in court warrant.

• Leslie A. Ayala, 46, of the 300 block of Mill Street, Batavia, was charged with retail theft at 2:28 p.m. Sunday at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a police report.

• Briana D. Moss, 19, of the 2000 block of Illinois Avenue, Aurora, was charged with retail theft at 6:04 p.m. Sunday at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a police report.

• Kelsey L. Thwaites, 18, of the 2400 block of Fox Drive, Aurora, was charged with retail theft at 7:52 p.m. Sunday at Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a police report.

• Someone used five counterfeit $100 bills to make purchases Saturday at Target, 115 N. Randall Road, police said.

• Someone smashed the hatch window of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Hill Lane, it was reported to police at 2:05 p.m. Friday.

• Someone smashed a small garage window at Larson-Becker Co., 106 N. River St., it was reported to police at 2:53 p.m. Friday.
