Motorists in the Libertyville area are cautioned to expect substantial delays Tuesday, July 9, as part of the Route 137/Milwaukee Avenue project. Weather permitting, pre-cast sections of the multiuse trail (pedestrian tunnel) will be delivered and installed on the west side of Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) about 1,500 feet south of Casey Road. Periodic closures of about 15 minutes each will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m. The interval between each closure will be about 30 minutes.
