Batavia RSVP to elect officers

Batavia RSVP Inc. will hold its annual meeting at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Bethany Lutheran Church's fellowship hall, 8 S. Lincoln St. in Batavia. There will be election of officers and board members. All members of Batavia RSVP Inc. and the public are invited to attend.

All people who are presently signed up for the Medical Assistance Program will automatically be enrolled in the upcoming fiscal year of July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014. New people who wish to enroll in the Medical Assistance Program and anyone interested in receiving any other services should call the office at (630) 406-9993.

Batavia RSVP Inc. is in great need of drivers to help seniors get to appointments and do errands such as grocery shopping, banking, going to the drugstore, etc. Call (630) 406-9993 to find out how to volunteer. If you are a senior needing assistance, you can call the office from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday.

Batavia RSVP Inc. also accepts donations for the Medical Assistance Program and the other programs such as smoke and carbon monoxide detector and lockbox installations, and transportation for appointments. Any qualifying senior may apply for financial assistance or participation in any of the programs by calling the office. Batavia RSVP Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are tax-deductible.
