Route 120 resurfacing

The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that weather permitting, a resurfacing project on Route 120 (Belvidere Road) from Route 60 to Bacon Road near Volo/Round Lake, will begin Monday, July 8. The project will involve milling, patching, detector loop replacement and striping. The work will require traffic to be reduced to one lane with flaggers. Motorists should expect delays and are urged to pay close attention to the signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment. Details on other construction projects in IDOT’s District 1 are available at http://www.dot.il.gov and traffic updates are online at www.travelmidwest.com.
