District 59 appoints new ELL head
The Elk Grove Township Elementary School District 59 board has approved the appointment of Maureen McAbee as executive director of English Language Learning, replacing Susan Ejma, who has accepted the position of principal for Juliette Low School in Arlington Heights. McAbee will begin her assignment on July 1. She has served as principal of both Rupley and Salt Creek Schools, the past 12 years at Salt Creek.
