Submitted by Green Drinks McHenry County

The public is invited to Green Drinks McHenry County from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Duke’s Alehouse & Kitchen, 110 N. Main St., in Crystal Lake. Head upstairs at Duke’s for information and inspiration, business and pleasure. Come talk about “greening” the future with others. You must be 21-years-old to purchase alcohol; nonalcoholic drinks are available.

Cory Horton, water resources manager for McHenry County, will speak about past, current and future projects that officials are working to ensure a sustainable water supply for McHenry County. Horton will discuss active partnerships that the county has used to complete the projects and will also touch on other activities that may be used to protect the groundwater quantity and quality.

There will be an information table setup, and you are welcome to bring information about your green products and services each month to share. Additional parking is available at the train station.
