Hanover Park to hold open house at its apiary
The village of Hanover Park’s Environmental Committee will hold an open house at the Community Apiary from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30. All are welcome to visit the beehives, learn about honey bees and see how to get started keeping honey bees in Hanover Park.
The Community Apiary, which opened in summer 2011, is located at 2500 Army Trail Road. For more information, call (630) 823-5706.
