University of Illinois men's golf coach Mike Small qualified for the 2013 PGA Championship after finishing tied for fourth at the PGA Professional National Championship on Wednesday in Sunriver, Ore.

The top 20 finishers qualified for the year's final major championship, and Small recorded rounds of 69, 70, 72, and 72 in the event. This will be Small's ninth appearance in a PGA Championship field and his 12th major championship. He has also competed in three U.S. Opens.
