Family day at Lambs Farm:

Lambs Farm, 14245 W. Rockland Road, Green Oaks, hosts a Fun and Fit Family Day from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Sponsored by Advocate Condell Medical Center, the free event is designed for families to spend a day outdoors and learn how to be healthy together. A variety of vendor and information booths will be available, as well as demonstrations and activities that encourage physical activity, such as four-wheel bike rides, fitness run, and speed pitch station. Many local businesses will have demonstrations such as Zumba, Navy circuit training, Yoga, Tai Chi, and a dance party to end the festivities. Booths to learn about bike safety, get a free shoulder massage and blood pressure screening also will be available.
