Lombard village manager stepping down

Lombard Village Manager David Hulseberg says he plans to retire later this year but has not yet set a specific date.

Hulseberg, who has been in the post since 2008, previously served as the village’s community development director for 10 years. He also worked in planning or economic development capacities for Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect.

He said he has no immediate plans but wants to pursue other career interests.

The village board has hired Voorhees and Associates LLC of Deerfield to begin a national search to find a replacement.
