Barrington approves construction of eight homes

Barrington trustees this week approved a special use permit for the construction of eight new single-family homes.

The eight homes will join three already built on a cul-de-sac named Kainer Court. The development, originally called the Hamilton Court of Barrington subdivision, was curtailed by the collapse of the housing market several years ago.

Resumption of the project involves renaming it the Kainer Court subdivision and a development agreement among the village, BBPAD Holdings I LLC, and William Ryan Homes Inc.
