Women's club thanks Antioch for barbecue's success

A big thank you to Antioch, Illinois for making the Antioch Woman's Club USO BBQ for the troops a huge success. Special thanks to Barb Porch of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce for giving us the perfect venue at the Summer Bazaar.

Thank you Shawn Roby, Antioch Parks and Recreation, for the tables and chairs. Thank you to the following for donating the great raffle prizes: Johnson Jewelers, Oliverii North, Impressions Count, A-Z Rental, Horvat Nurseries, JJ Blinkers, Timeless Treasures, Park Auto, Kunes Ford, Fast Tire, the Antioch Woman's Club for donating 100 free lunches to anyone with a military ID and for donating the Drive and Ride NASCAR prizes at the Chicago Speedway.

Thank you to the Antioch VFW, Johnny's, Wings Etc., The Lodge, The Long Grove Confectionary, Calli's Consignment Shop, WalMart and again to The Antioch Woman's Club for all the gift cards.

Folks, we exceeded our goal of $1,500.00 to a most worthy cause - the USO. Together we can do marvelous things and we couldn't have done it without all of you.
