Bring your pooch for Yappy Hour in Schaumburg

Schaumburg Park District will hold Yappy Hour from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Meineke Park, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

Adults will enjoy award-winning wine samples from Lynfred Winery, children will create craft projects, and pups will participate in an agility course and bob for hot dogs.

Plenty of soda and beer will also be available for guests to stay cool. Participants must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol. A copy of each dog’s shot records must be brought the day of the event.

Resident costs are $12 for adults with beverage, $5 for adults without beverage and $3 for children.

Nonresident costs are $18 for adults with beverage, $11 for adults without beverage and $5 for children. Dogs are free.
