Friends of Palatine Public Library to host used book sale
The Friends of the Palatine Public Library will hold a Summer Used Book Sale from Friday, June 21, through Sunday, June 23, at the library, 700 N. North Court, Palatine. Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free except for Friday when nonmembers pay $5. The selection of materials includes books, DVDs and CDs. Prices drop by half on Sunday. All proceeds benefit the library district. The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program and has allocated funds for meeting room renovations.
